The solo bottleneck

Vague asks produce silence; good prompts produce quotable lines.

This guide is part of a free series: 50 useful automations for people running the business alone. Download the printable PDF anytime: Free PDF — Collect testimonials with a short guided form.

Stack that stays small

Form with prompts + permission checkbox + Drive/Notion store.

Tools named here: Typeform, Notion, Zapier. Prefer official docs and native features before adding another SaaS.

Ship the automation

Form asks: problem before, outcome after, favorite moment, permission to use.

Trigger after project completion or positive NPS.

Store quotes with headshot/name fields.

Monthly: place one new quote on site or sales deck.

Keep it honest

Offer to draft from a 10-minute call if writing is hard for them.

Automations should reduce decisions and errors — not hide broken processes. If a Zap fails weekly, fix the process or delete the Zap.
